"Same old, same old!"
-"늘 똑같지 뭐!", "별로 변한 거 없어!"라는 의미다. same old를 두 번 말한다. 안부인사에 대한 대답으로 예전과 특별히 다른 것이 없다는 표현이다.
M: Hey, it's been ages! How are you?
W: Oh, same old, same old.
M: What about your family? How's your family?
W: They're well. Same old, same old.
M: Your job?
W: Same old, same old.
M: Is anything new?
M: 와~ 오랜만이야. 요즘 잘 지내?
W: 뭐, 나야 늘 똑같지.
M: 가족들은? 가족들은 다 잘 지내?
W: 잘 지내. 늘 그렇지 뭐.
M: 일은?
W: 변한 거 없어.
M: 뭐 새로운 거 하나도 없어?
